It was truly a privilege and an honour to be invited as Faculty at the 14th International Surgical Sleep Conference, conducted in India for the very first time.
I had the opportunity to speak on “Anesthesia Considerations in OSA Surgeries – My Approach.”
The talk was very well appreciated by the international faculty and delegates too.
They were impressed to learn that in our routine practice we regularly utilise:
– VLS
- BIS monitoring
- THRIVE in selected cases
- Awake Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy (FOB) for anticipated difficult airways
– Our routine use of drugs like remifentanly & suggamadex
Grateful for the opportunity to contribute and represent our work on an international platform.
