We are delighted to share that our case report,
“Anesthetic Management of a Super Morbidly Obese Parturient (BMI 78 kg/m²) for LSCS: A Case Report”
has now been published in the Indexed Journal of Obstetric Anaesthesia and Critical Care.
This is a landmark achievement, as this is believed to be the highest recorded body weight (202 kg, BMI 78 kg/m²) for a patient undergoing LSCS in Mumbai, successfully managed through meticulous planning, teamwork, and protocol-based perioperative care. The published report highlights the multidisciplinary approach and advanced anaesthetic strategies used in this extremely high-risk case.
This achievement reflects the strength of teamwork, preparation, and evidence-based anaesthesia practice.
🙏 Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Munjaal Kapadia and the entire Team Namaha Healthcare for providing outstanding infrastructure, unwavering support, and a collaborative environment that made this challenging case a success.
Congratulations to all the co-authors and every member of the OT, Obstetrics, Neonatology, ICU, and Anaesthesia teams who contributed to this remarkable outcome.
